Gather round

The world is a heavy place—and a beautiful one. As introspective men, we wrestle with what masculinity and strength mean today. We want to be supportive, stand up sons, spouses, fathers, brothers, and friends, yet our culture hasn’t given us many tools to do it healthily. These gatherings aim to effect a shift in each of us—a broadening of our understanding of ourselves and our place in the world.

Come as yourself,
leave as your better self.

Root down

It’s serious, it’s fun. It’s solo work; it’s group support. It’s inside of us. It’s inside of YOU, deep compassion, radical curiosity, a lot of thought, and a dose of play.

Your practitioners, Sean + Ian + JD

Sean Crotty, MPH

Sean is a deeply curious and compassionate human. He appreciates valuable connections with people. His keen interest in holistic health led him to earn a Master’s of Public Health from Westminster College. Sean is currently a Doctoral Candidate in Depth Psychology. There, he was struck by perhaps our greatest global health crisis: mental health.

Sean specializes in Jungian depth psychology and eco-psychology, with a profound commitment to supporting individuals on THEIR journey of self-discovery. Sean integrates the wisdom of Jungian psychology with the insights of eco-psychology to foster holistic growth and transformation. Sean also incorporates eco-psychological practices into his sessions, encouraging individuals to explore their relationship with nature as a source of healing and renewal.

The Inner Alchemy of Male Friendships: Deep Friendships for MEN

  • We look at the inherited messages around masculinity, vulnerability, and closeness.

What did we learn growing up about male friendship — spoken or unspoken?

Where did we start shutting down?

  • We get curious about the defenses, discomfort, and fears that show up when we try to connect.

How do we armor up? What do we avoid?

    And what’s underneath it?

  • We begin to reimagine and practice new ways of relating.

How does it feel to be seen — and still safe?

What kind of man do you want to be in your relationships?

  • We take what we’ve uncovered and anchor it in real life.
Connection takes courage — but also commitment.
We’ll name what’s next and how to carry it into everyday life.

The outcome:
a more grounded, more opened version of yourself.

This is for you if you’ve ever felt like you don’t have many close guy friends you can really open up to. Maybe you’ve got people to hang out with, but the conversations stay on the surface, and you’re craving something more real. Maybe it feels like you're carrying stuff alone, or like you’re the only one trying to figure things out. This is for you if you're ready to drop the pressure to always have it together, and just want a space to be yourself—no judgment, no tough-guy act. If you're curious about what stronger, more honest friendships with other men could look like—and you're open to showing up a little differently—this is a great place to start.

Take your place.
